Geocoding is a software-assisted process by which text descriptions of places ("Sydney Harbour" or "47 Smith Street, Oakleigh") are matched with geographical information, usually points defined by a latitude and longitude.
This form asks you questions about what kind of geocoding you need. Then it provides suggestions of possible tools and approaches that are relevant to you. The information will also be stored and analysed to help us better understand common needs.
Currently this is just a proof of concept.
